IBC Ministry Overview

"The church in Africa is a mile wide, but an inch deep."

Though hungry for the Gospel, millions of young African Believers are being led into false doctrines and a false gospel - especially the prosperity gospel, signs and wonders movement and witchcraft.

Islam continues to invade from the north.  African pastors are zealous, but lack training and resources to equip the saints for maturity and discernment.  The Gospel, expository Bible preaching and sound doctrine will turn the Dark Continent to light and from the power of Satan unto God.

IBC conducts Bible conferences for thousands of African pastors

Every conference is focused on expository preaching of the Word - modeling verse by verse teaching that pastors take to their congregation.

Every conference includes a clear Gospel message and invitation to salvation - calling hundreds of false teachers to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Every conference includes the distribution of resources - providing the only Bible, concordance, commentary and theological reference most African pastors will ever possess!

Over the next ten years, IBC is expecting to conduct Bible conferences in ten African countries.

Conferences in each country will grow to 40,000 pastors and church leaders meeting in capital cities.  400,000 African pastors will hear expository preaching of the Word and sound doctrine.  They will each be provided resources, including the MacArthur Study Bible.  These men will return home to congregations averaging 100 people - more than 40 million souls will be directly impacted!

The Gospel and Bible preaching transforms cultures!

We anticipate that pastors exposed to Biblical ministry at large conferences will be funneled into smaller training institutions - fanning into flame a movement of expository Bible preaching in African churches.

We anticipate that an indigenous movement of expository preaching and sound doctrine will impact business, ethics, morality, politics, etc.  An entire continent will be "turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God."

He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.  Philippians 4:13
