Core Values

Core Value One: Eternity - We are striving to make an eternal impact, investing the eternal Word into eternal souls.

Core Value Two: Gospel - We are passionate about preaching the Gospel and calling people to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15).

Core Value Three: Sound Doctrine - We believe that solid Bible preaching will strengthen the churches of Africa, India, and Asia - lest they be carried about with every wind of doctrine.  We are absolutely committed to the fundamentals of the faith (II Timothy 3:16-17).

Core Value Four: Bible Exposition - We are committed  to expository preaching of the Word as the best means to equip native pastors, whether in small or large conferences (II Timothy 4:2).

Core Value Five: Transformation - We believe that the Gospel is the power of God to change lives, cultures, and nations.  We aim to change Africa by strengthening its pastors, exposing them to the Gospel and expository preaching (Romans 1:16).

Core Value Six: Native pastors - We believe that native pastors are key to reaching their own nations.  IBC exists to encourage, equip, and support indigenous pastors (Romans 15:14).

Core Value Seven: Partnerships - We are committed to working with other believers and organizations both foreign and domestic.

Core Value Eight: Resources - We are committed to provide pastors with Bibles and other resources for Biblical ministry.

Core Value Nine: Inclusivism - While we invite and are eager to minister to pastors from every Christian denomination and background, we work most closely with those we are most like minded in doctrine and philosophy of ministry.

Core Value Ten: Trustworthiness - We are committed to accountable stewardship of resources so that money is used for the purpose that it was given.

All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
